Our story
Patrico Ltd is our family business, founded back in June 1983 as a quick-response, service-based stockist, supplying containers to a wide range of industries.
Since then, we’ve gone from strength to strength, and our continued growth over the decades has seen us move into larger premises several times to keep up with demand. Each move has helped us expand our product range, hold more stock, and improve our efficiency, so we can keep delivering the reliable, responsive service our customers rely on. Providing quality packaging solutions with a personal touch has always been at the heart of what we do.
Where are we now?
New premises were built after the 2007 floods and after sixteen years have continued to serve us well and will enable us to continue growing in years to come.
2023 saw Patrico reach the 40th Anniversary of its inception and marked that occasion with a step into a new future as part of the Atkinson Group, we are proud to have joined our family with a group which shares both our values and business ethos and we look forward to a bright and productive future with them.
Now, two years on, we've fully settled into the Atkinson Group and are thriving as part of a supportive and forward-thinking collective. The partnership has brought new opportunities for growth, innovation, and collaboration, all while allowing us to maintain the personal service and
reliability our customers know and trust. Together, we’re building a stronger, more dynamic future - rooted in shared values and a commitment to excellence in industrial packaging.
We take pride in our outstanding customer service which sets us apart in the industry and always endeavour to work very closely with our customers. Deliveries are made nationwide by our own fleet of vehicles as well as through our partnerships with both Palletways and DPD which allow us to have a truly national scope to our logistics. Our warehouse retains a large amount of stock and in constantly updating our range of containers we can assure our customers that we can always supply the right container at the right time.
